Formax ColorMax 7 Series — Digital Color Printer

The ColorMax 7 Series uses Memjet® inkjet technology to produce full-color output at up to three times the speed of traditional shuttle-head printers, at roughly one-third the per-page cost. The Memjet print head has 70,400 nozzles and no moving parts — higher speeds, lower ink and maintenance costs, and less noise.

It produces full CMYK output (up to 16.8 million colors) on a wide range of stocks and sizes, with full-bleed capability on media up to 8.5" wide. Print resolutions reach 1600 x 1600 dpi at 6 ips and 1600 x 800 dpi at 12 ips. Thermal inkjet means no heat or contact, so it runs safely on pre-printed and windowed envelopes.
