• Match your exact cutter model: blade length and hole pattern must match precisely.
• Choose blade material by workload: carbon steel for general use, HSS for production, carbide for extreme wear resistance.
• Consider your stock mix: coated, laminated or synthetic sheets will dull standard blades faster.
• Look for cut-quality issues: rough edges, fiber pull, stack draw and uneven cuts often point to a dull knife.
