The Akiles CBM-650 is a standalone plastic-comb opener for documents that have already been punched. Separating the opener from the punch can support an assembly-line workflow when one operator punches while another loads and closes combs.
It opens and closes standard binding combs from 1/4 inch through 2 inches and handles binding lengths up to 14 inches. The opener can be used on its own or mounted on selected Akiles equipment.
