The Akiles Finish@Coil-E1 is a high-capacity electric coil inserter with a built-in electric crimper. You feed pre-punched sheets, and the machine spins the spiral coil through the holes and crimps both ends, so an operator is not hand-spinning and cutting coils all day. It inserts and crimps coils from 6mm up to 50mm, has an adjustable bottom roller for the larger diameters, and runs foot-pedal operated so both hands stay on the book. This is the finishing half of a coil line for a print shop or in-plant bindery that already owns a punch and wants to speed insertion and crimping.
