Transfer Conveyor for Efficient Document Handling:

BAUM offers innovative solutions beyond standard folding equipment with the Baum Mirt 20 Transfer Conveyor. The MIRT, or Mobile Independent Right-Hand Transfer conveyor, provides versatile functionality for various applications in document processing.

Key Features and Applications:

  • To transport stitched booklets from stitchers or booklet-makers, facilitating parallel folds to reduce flat size for efficient mailings. Utilizes a BAUM K20 Knife folder for the parallel fold operation post-transfer.
  • To sequence sheets back into order from multiple up east/west, north/south printing configurations.
  • Functions as an in-line registration table compatible with various inkjet and remoistenable gluing applications.
  • Can replace a Bump-Turn table for streamlined operations.
  • Mobile Design for flexible placement and usage.
  • Variable Speed DC Drive for customizable operation speeds.
  • Equipped with Sealed Ball Bearings for smooth and reliable performance.
  • Supports sheets up to a maximum size of 20.5” x 20.5” (52.07 cm x 52.07 cm).
  • Minimum sheet width of 4.0” (10.16 cm) for versatility in handling different document sizes.
  • Operates on 220V / 1ph / 60 Hz power supply (also available in 220V/1Ph/50Hz).
  • Speed range from 100 to 600 Feet Per Minute (30.48 to 182.88 meters/min) for efficient throughput.
  • Adjustable Height from 23 to 36 inches (58.42 to 91.44 cm) for ergonomic use and integration into existing workflows.
  • Compact Overall Length of 48 inches (122 cm) for space-saving installation.
