How to choose between the HSE 30, HSE 50 and HSE 100

The three machines form one Heat Seal family. They step up in seal area, throughput and duty.

The HSE 30 at $4,340 is the entry machine. It fits a bench or a small packaging station and suits shops that wrap a few dozen pieces a shift.

The HSE 50 at $5,100 is the middle of the line. It is an all-electric one step machine. It seals and shrinks in a single motion and needs no compressed air. It has a 15" x 19.5" seal area and handles product up to 15" x 21". Digital controls store up to 10 programs, which matters when one operator wraps several different products in a day.

The HSE 100 at $8,980 is the largest of the three. It is a combo system with an L-sealer and a separate shrink tunnel. It is the right call when the wrap is continuous rather than batched.

Does the HSE 50 need compressed air?

No. It is all electric. Plug it into standard service and wrap. That is the main difference between this machine and a chamber sealer that needs shop air.
