The MBM Destroyit 5009 Paper Shredder is a powerful conveyor-fed shredder designed for high-volume, secure document destruction. With a sheet capacity of over 600 and a 79-gallon shred volume, it efficiently handles large quantities of paper. The optional exit conveyor belt system increases shred capacity by transporting material to an external container. Featuring a centralized oiler for cutting shaft lubrication, an electronically controlled safety guard, and multiple safety features, this shredder ensures smooth and secure operation. The dual 3-phase motors (24 horsepower) and soft metal-resistant hardened steel cutting shafts can shred CDs, DVDs, hardbound documents, and 3-ring binders, making it ideal for heavy-duty use.

The Destroyit 5009 ships in two security levels so you can match the machine to your compliance needs. The P-2 strip-cut configuration (catalog EQ-399) delivers the highest throughput at 600-700 sheets per pass and suits general confidential-document destruction. The P-3 cross-cut configuration (catalog EQ-398) produces a smaller particle for higher-security destruction at 300-400 sheets per pass, a common choice for regulated records and high-security shredding.
