The WorkForce Pro WF-C579R is a compact network MFP with fast speeds and low color printing costs. It runs on PrecisionCore Heat-Free Technology™ and uses a Replaceable Ink Pack System (RIPS). Its Extra High-capacity packs hold enough ink to print up to 50,000 ISO pages black/20,000 ISO pages color before the packs need changing². It produces pro-quality prints at 24 ISO ppm (black/color)^† with no warmup time. The WF-C579R also has a 50-page ADF and auto 2-sided printing, copying, duplex scanning up to 60 ipm³, and faxing. PCL¹/Adobe® PostScript® 3™ support suits shared printing on a network, and its open platform integrates with enterprise applications.

2 Replacement ink pack yields are estimated based on ISO/IEC 24711 test in Default Mode printing continuously. Ink pack yields vary considerably for reasons including images printed, print settings, temperature and humidity. Yields may be lower when printing infrequently or predominantly with one ink color. All ink colors are used for printing and printer maintenance, and all colors have to be installed for printing. For print quality, part of the ink from the included ink packs is used for printer startup and a variable amount of ink remains in the ink pack after the "replace ink pack" signal.
