Baum 714XLT-2C, 4C, 4Z and 8Z gluing systems
The Baum 714XLT gluing systems combine the Baum 714XLT Ultrafold air/vacuum feed folder with the GMS Microglue control and glue head system for compact self-mailer production. The folder handles the folding, the glue heads apply seams and dots in the same pass, and the combination takes the hand work out of self-mailer jobs while using less floor space than traditional self-mailer lines.

- 714XLT-2C: base model with 2 glue heads for edge gluing (no center glue dots)
- 714XLT-4C: adds 2 glue dots for mailers that need to stay closed in the mail stream
- 714XLT-4Z: adds Z-fold and double parallel-fold, with glue applied to both sides
- 714XLT-8Z: full capability, side seams plus center glue dots on every supported fold type
Standard features
Folding: the air/vacuum bottom-feed Baum 714XLT folder runs coated and uncoated paper from 3" x 5" up to 14" x 20", with rack and pinion side guides and fold speeds up to 7,200 inches per minute.
Gluing: GMS HP Series glue heads carry an electric purge switch and a self-cleaning nozzle mechanism that keeps downtime short. The system runs a range of glue viscosities for different applications.
Perforation: two perforation lines are standard for tear-off sections; a third is available with the 8-page second-station right-angle folder.
Operation: touchscreen control with job memory. The mobile cart carries the glue tanks and purge system, and the machine runs quietly on standard power.
