Overview
The Dry-Lam CL-40DX is a 40" wide-format roll laminator from the Element Series, the Deluxe model in Dry-Lam's American-made line. The 40" width handles large prints, posters, signage, and ganged runs that a 27" machine cannot. "Deluxe" sits in the middle of the Element range, above the Standard and below the Professional, so it suits a print shop or school that laminates regularly but does not need the Professional's heaviest-film capability. - Width: 27" vs 40". Match the roller width to your widest print. 27" covers letter to tabloid and small posters; 40" (the CL-40DX) handles large posters, signage, and ganged sheets.
- Grade: Standard vs Deluxe vs Professional. The Element Series steps up across these three. Standard is the entry tier, Deluxe (this model) is the mid tier, Professional is the top tier for the heaviest film and hardest duty.
- Volume and duty cycle. A laminator that runs all day needs the higher grade; occasional runs fit Standard.
