The Formax FD 87 Casino Series is a heavy-duty industrial shredder designed for secure destruction of casino gaming materials including playing cards, dice, and casino chips. Built specifically for gaming operations that require reliable, secure destruction of gaming pieces, the FD 87 Casino delivers commercial-grade performance with safety features designed for continuous operational environments.
The standard FD 87 Casino handles up to 3 decks of cards, 20 dice, or 40 casino chips (clay or plastic) per cycle. The Extended (EX) variant adds an attached conveyor for high-throughput operations where extended runtime and unattended operation are required.
Hardened steel cutting blades produce a shred size designed to render gaming materials completely unusable: cards reduced to ≤ 0.19" x 3" strips, dice reduced to ≤ 0.5" cubes, and chips/tokens reduced to ≤ 0.75" x 1.5" pieces. The all-metal cabinet houses a powerful 2HP three-phase motor for sustained heavy-duty operation.
Safety features include an automatic stop when the waste bin is full, automatic power shut-off after 30 minutes of continuous operation, a door switch that prevents operation when open, and an emergency stop button. The shredder is key-locked for controlled access in regulated gaming environments.
