The Hunkeler roll-to-roll solution features high-speed unwinders to ensure efficient downstream processing. The UW6 Unwinder and RW6 Rewinder are designed for constant web tension for uniformly tight and straight rolls.

Equipment Features: 

  • Investment protection: The system supports in-the-field speed upgrades up to 720 fpm for investment protection when upgrading to a new print engine
  • Range of paper weights: The system handles paper weights of 27 lb. offset to 110 lb. cover
  • No web flip bar: Unwind and rewind in either direction and eliminate the need for a web flip bar
