Planatol Planamelt R perfect binding adhesive
Planamelt R is a plasticizer-free hotmelt spine adhesive made for short-run and digital printing. It bonds well on difficult substrates, including papers above 200 g/m², and uses less adhesive than EVA.
It is formulated for compact lines and small perfect binders. Within the recommended temperature range it can also run as side glue.
Clean the glue pot before loading Planamelt
When switching from EVA or another adhesive to Planamelt R, clean the glue pot fully first. Clean rollers give stable running and consistent bond strength.
