The Foliant Taurus 400 NG is a compact single-sided industrial laminator built for heavy-duty digital and offset work. It runs at up to 131 ft/min, produces up to 4,800 sheets per hour of 14" x 20" stock, feeds from a 21.2" pile suction feeder, and takes sheet sizes up to 15.7" x 27.5". At 131 ft/min it runs roughly 50% faster than the Foliant Mercury 400 NG, making it the pick when a print shop needs B3-format lamination at production pace in a tight footprint. A double-sided version is available as the Taurus 400 NG 4x4.

Typical work: flyers, postcards, and mailers; covers for saddle-stitched and perfect-bound books; retail packaging inserts including cartons, cards, and product sleeves; and mixed digital and offset jobs. The high-pressure system and 4,800 SPH throughput suit it to long offset runs as well as short digital work.

The Taurus 400 NG 4x4 laminates both sides in one pass. Pick it when double-sided work is regular rather than occasional, because doing two-sided lamination on a single-sided machine means running the pile twice.
