High-performance laminators built for precision and speed - laminate both sides in a single pass. Trusted by print professionals for consistency and control.

These are configured systems. Film path, feeder, and trimmer options change the build, so Mid-State Litho quotes each machine as configured with freight included rather than posting a base price that will not be what you pay. For the wider category, see the laminating machines range.

Dual-Sided Efficiency

Laminates both sides in a single pass - ideal for menus, postcards, and commercial print workflows.

Bubble-Free Output

Advanced roller and heat systems ensure clean, professional-grade lamination with no warping or wrinkling.

Built for Throughput

Reliable automation with inline feeding, fast warm-up, and durable construction - built to keep up with production.

Common Applications

  • Menus, brochures, and catalogs
  • Business cards and postcards
  • Certificates and ID badges

Where these machines fit

Coating both faces in one pass is one axis of the decision. Feeding is another: if the constraint is getting sheets into the machine without an operator standing over it, start from the automatic laminators range instead. Film format is a third. These units run roll film, so the roll laminators range covers the single-sided equivalents, and laminating film covers the consumables that keep them running. For sheets wider than the 760mm Foliant Taurus, see wide format laminators.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a double-sided laminator and a single-sided one?

A double-sided machine coats both faces of the sheet in one pass. The Foliant 4x4 units run two film webs, top and bottom, at the same time. A single-sided machine coats one face and the sheet has to be turned and run again for the second. MSL carries single-sided machines on the single-sided laminators page.

Do you sell a double-belt laminator?

No. A double-belt laminator is a continuous press used in board and panel production. The machines on this page are double-sided sheet laminators for print work, which is a different process on different stock.

Why are these machines quoted instead of priced?

Film path, feeder, and trimming options change the configuration and the freight, so the number depends on the build. MSL quotes the machine as configured, with freight included, rather than posting a base price that will not be what you pay. Capital approval as a monthly number is common on machines at this level, so see financing and leasing, or contact Mid-State Litho to start a quote.

What sheet width do the Foliant units run?

The model number carries it. Mercury and Taurus 400 NG run to 400mm, 530 NG to 530mm, 760 NG to 760mm. The 4x4 designation is the double-sided configuration, not the width.

Who installs and services these in Michigan?

MSL. Factory-trained technicians, in-house parts, and a service area covering Michigan and the Great Lakes. MSL has sold and serviced print finishing equipment since 1984.
