Mid-State Litho is an authorized Foliant dealer in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Foliant builds commercial and industrial single-sided and double-sided laminators for digital and offset print finishing: short-run covers, menus, cards, packaging samples, and high-volume production sheets. We sell, install, train, and service Foliant equipment across Michigan and the Great Lakes.
This brand page indexes the live Foliant laminators we list: Mercury, Taurus, Vega, Gemini, Castor, Pollux, and the 400T entry path, in 400mm, 530mm, and 760mm format families. Related hubs: laminating machines, single-sided laminators, double-sided laminators, automatic laminators, laminating film, and multi-brand options such as DryLam.
Sizing a Foliant is a sheet-width, single vs double-sided, and automation conversation. We will match the series to your daily volume and stock, quote trade-in when an older laminator still has life, and put the machine on the floor with operator training. Availability varies by SKU. Financing and leasing is available through Mitsubishi HC Capital and LEAF Commercial Capital. Call 1-800-343-4231.

How to choose a Foliant laminator
Four decisions settle most quotes.
Format width. 400mm for common digital sheet sizes (up to about SRA3 / 12x18 class). 530mm for larger digital and mid commercial. 760mm for B1 / wide production sheets. Match the largest sheet you laminate every week.
Single-sided vs 4x4 double-sided. Single-sided for one-face finish. 4x4 when both sides need film in one pass (menus, cards, covers).
Automation. Semi-auto Vega-class for lower daily volume. Full automatic Mercury / Taurus / Pollux when the laminator runs most of the shift.
Brand fit. Foliant is a commercial production laminator line. DryLam and pouch systems cover lighter duty. We will say when a different brand or pouch path is the better floor fit.
Sheet size above 530mm. The 760 machines run B1 stock, up to about 29 inches wide. If the largest sheet you laminate is SRA3 or 12x18, a 400 or 530 machine handles it and the 760 costs you floor space you do not need. If you laminate B1 covers, oversized posters or mounted board, the 760 is the entry point, not an upgrade. The Pollux 760 NG and Taurus 760 NG 4x4 are the two automatic 760 paths. Call 1-800-343-4231 with your largest sheet size and we will tell you which one fits.
Why buy Foliant from Mid-State Litho
Mid-State Litho is a family-owned print-finishing dealer since 1984 and an authorized Foliant dealer with factory-trained technicians for install, training, preventive maintenance, and repair across Michigan and the Great Lakes.
Why there are no prices on this page. A Foliant is quoted with the film path, the feed and delivery configuration, install and freight together, so the number on a price tag would be wrong before you read it. Send the sheet size, the stock and the daily volume and you get one quote covering the machine, the delivery and the training. Financing is quoted as a monthly figure at the same time.
Service and film. Setup, film path, and common wear items are handled through MSL service. Laminating film and supplies: laminating film. See service and support.
Trade-ins and financing. Written trade-in values when the old laminator still has life. Financing and leasing through Mitsubishi HC Capital and LEAF Commercial Capital. Used options: used and refurbished equipment.
Multi-brand honesty. We also sell DryLam and other finishing brands. If Foliant is not the right laminator for the job, we will say so before you buy. Read more about Mid-State Litho or contact us.

What is the difference between Mercury, Taurus, and Vega?

What does 4x4 mean on a Foliant laminator?
4x4 models apply film to both sides of the sheet in one pass. Use them when two-sided lamination is the standard product, not a rare exception.
