Planatol Planamelt R
Planamelt R is a plasticizer-free hotmelt spine adhesive designed for short-run and digital printing. It provides excellent adhesion on challenging substrates — including papers above 200 g/m² — while reducing adhesive usage compared with EVA.
Optimized for compact lines and small perfect binders, Planamelt R can also be used as side glue when operated within the recommended temperature range.
Clean the Glue Pot Before Loading Planamelt
When switching from EVA or another adhesive to Planamelt R, a full glue-pot cleaning is recommended. This ensures cleaner rollers, stable running, and consistent bond strength.
How to Clean a Perfect Binder Glue Pot – Step-by-Step GuideProcess-Ready for Short Runs
- 🔷 Developed for short processing lines and compact binders.
- 🔷 Fast, controlled setting, suitable for high-speed operation.
