The PP-1622MK Combo is a fully adjustable L-sealer with an integrated shrink tunnel, built for high-volume packaging lines. Its Micro-Knife sealing head does away with seal wire replacements, the most common consumable headache on conventional L-sealers, and the whole unit sits on one mobile uni-body frame.

What is the difference between the Micro Knife and Hot Knife seal systems?

Micro Knife seals without a seal wire, so there is no wire to replace and seal quality stays consistent run to run. Hot Knife holds constant heat with its own digital temperature control and handles polyethylene film. Both are quoted on this page.

Does the PP1622MK Combo need compressed air?

Only the air-operated builds do. The standard Micro Knife and Hot Knife versions run on 220 V single phase, 45 amps. Tell us your film and your package size and we will spec the right one.

What is the largest package it will run?

Seal area is 16 x 22 in, maximum film width is 20 in, and the tunnel opening is 28 x 18 x 8 in. A 12 in tunnel height is available for taller packages.
