The ColorCut FB1175 is a flatbed cutter for light to medium-run production of two- and three-dimensional items. It is engineered in the UK and cuts packaging, POS displays, kiss-cut labels, and prototypes across a range of media.
Key features and benefits
- Cuts a typical SRA3 sheet in 30 to 60 seconds, and runs single-sheet jobs or batch production of up to 1,000 sheets per day.
- The vacuum hold down table uses a centrifugal air pump to hold sheets flat and stable through the cut.
- An optical sensor or CCD camera reads registration marks, barcodes, and QR codes, aligns the sheet, and retrieves the matching job automatically.
- Several sheets can sit on the cutting mat at once and the machine processes each one in turn.
- The dual tool cutting head carries independent cutting and creasing tools, which cuts operation time. The creasing tool has wide and narrow crease options.
- The touch screen control panel works with ColorCut Pro software for job control and automation.
- The included centrifugal air pump holds printed sheets down under high vacuum and shuts off when the job finishes.
