Overview
The CMT 330 TC is Challenge's compact three-knife for shops that have outgrown single-knife face trims but do not need a Horizon HT production cell. It trims foot, head, and face for a finished book edge after binding.
Pair it with Challenge cutters on the front end of a short-run book line, or with perfect binders and bookletmakers already on the floor. Mid-State Litho stocks related knives and supports install and service across the Great Lakes.
The Challenge CMT 330 TC is a true three-knife book trimmer - it trims the head, face, and foot of a book block in one cycle, producing clean, square, finished-edge booklets and photo books.
Barcode-driven setup with auto size detection and a 10.5 inch touchscreen means short-run and variable jobs change over fast, trimming stacks up to 12 by 12 inches and 2 inches thick.
