Overview

The Mark IV combines flat-sheet collating efficiency with saddle-stitch productivity: score, fold, stitch, and three-knife trim in one flow. Horizon and Standard Finishing rate A4 portrait production up to about 6,000 booklets/hour and A4 landscape up to about 5,300 booklets/hour on equipped systems.

True variable production can auto-adjust stitch length, balance, registration, and trim size booklet to booklet. Scoring reduces spine crack risk; four-directional jogging improves alignment across stocks including coated sheets. Continuous production with reject-to-tray for detected errors keeps good work moving.

Built by Horizon International in Japan. North American distribution through Standard Finishing Systems. Sold, installed, and serviced in Michigan and the Great Lakes by Mid-State Litho.

Why buy Horizon equipment from Mid-State Litho

Horizon International designs and manufactures this machine in Japan. Standard Finishing Systems (SDMC) is the exclusive North American distributor. Mid-State Litho is the authorized Michigan and Great Lakes dealer: we quote the configuration, install it, train your operators, finance it when needed, stock related parts and adhesives, and send factory-trained technicians when something stops a shift.

We work with Horizon and Standard Finishing as long-term allies. We still want the plant manager who searches for a Horizon dealer to land on Mid-State Litho: same-state trucks, multi-brand advice when Horizon is not the only answer, and a phone that reaches people who have installed the line.
