Overview

The Intec ColorCut SC7100T XL is a digital die-cutting and creasing system for short-run packaging, folding cartons, labels, and specialty print. It cuts, kiss-cuts, creases, and perforates directly from a printed sheet using optical registration, which lets a print shop finish custom shapes and packaging in-house without commissioning steel dies for every job.

In Intec's ColorCut SC line the SC7100T XL is the extended-format model: it sits above the SC6500 and the SC7100 Pro T and below the SC7800 RS XL Pro T. Shops running digital color packaging, label work, or POP and specialty pieces use it to keep finishing on the same floor as the press.

Mid-State Litho also carries the Intec ColorCut FB flatbed series for thicker board and the ColorCut label-cutter line, so the SC7100T XL can be matched against those platforms by material and volume.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Intec SC7100T XL do?

The SC7100T XL is a digital sheet die cutter and creaser. It cuts, kiss-cuts, creases, and perforates short-run packaging, folding cartons, labels, and specialty print from digital output, so a shop can finish jobs in-house without ordering steel dies.

How is the SC7100T XL different from the SC7100 Pro T?

Both are in Intec's ColorCut SC7100 family. The T XL is the extended-format model for larger sheets and longer runs. Check the spec table for the exact maximum sheet size and feed configuration that fits your work.

What is the difference between Intec's SC series and FB series die cutters?

The ColorCut SC series are sheet-fed digital cutter and creasers built for label and short-run packaging throughput. The ColorCut FB series are flatbed cutters for thicker boards and rigid substrates. Mid-State Litho carries both lines and can match the platform to your material and volume.

Does the SC7100T XL register to printed crop marks?

Yes. Intec ColorCut machines use optical registration to align cuts and creases to the printed sheet, which is what keeps die lines on register across a run. Exact registration tolerance is on the Intec spec sheet.

Does Mid-State Litho install and service Intec ColorCut equipment?

Yes. Mid-State Litho is an authorized Intec dealer based in Michigan, serving the Great Lakes region since 1984. We deliver, install, train operators, and service ColorCut die cutters in-house, and we offer financing.
