Choosing between the Standard Horizon PC and APC cutters
Standard Horizon splits its cutter line two ways. The PC models use a manual clamp: the operator sets pressure by hand before starting the cut cycle. The APC models automate that step. The PC-640 handles a 25.19 inch cutting width at 70 mm stack height, which covers most digital press sheet sizes.
Step up to the APC-450 or APC-610 when the shop runs long, repetitive cut programs and the clamp setting becomes the bottleneck. Stay with the PC-640 when the work is varied and an operator is already at the machine. The PC-450 rounds out the entry of the PC line and is quoted on request.
