MSL is a second-generation family-owned business serving Michigan and the Great Lakes region since 1984. Every MBM Triumph cutter ships with on-site installation, operator training, and our verbatim service policy: we replace knives and dies, we do not sharpen them. Hydraulic Triumph cutters (5560, 6660, 7260) use hydraulic pressure for high-volume production environments; electric Triumph cutters (4350, 4815, 4850, 5255) use electric clamp and blade actuation for mid-volume quick-print and copy shops; tabletop trimmers (1135, 1138, 1158, 1171) handle short-run digital and on-demand work.

Financing is available through Mitsubishi HC Capital on all MBM equipment, with flexible terms and Section 179 tax deduction eligibility. Our factory-trained technicians provide on-site preventive maintenance and emergency repair across Michigan and the Great Lakes service area. Triumph Paper Cutters and Trimmers

MSL carries the full Triumph paper cutter and trimmer lineup that MBM ships to North American print shops. The Triumph 7260 (28-inch programmable hydraulic) and 6660 (programmable hydraulic) are built for high-volume commercial production: long stacks, repeat cuts, fast cycle times, and operator-friendly touchscreen programming. The Triumph 5560 (21-5/8-inch programmable hydraulic) and 5260 (20-3/8-inch programmable) serve mid-volume operations with VRCut programmable automation and barcode-driven setup recall. The 6655 (25-inch programmable) sits between for shops sized between mid- and high-volume.

For electric and semi-automatic cutting, the 4850 (18-5/8-inch automatic), 4815 (18-5/8-inch semi-automatic), 4350 (16-7/8-inch automatic), and 5255 (20-3/8-inch programmable) are the standard tier for quick-print and copy shops with mixed run lengths. The Triumph 1138 and 1135 are tabletop trimmers for short-run digital work; the 1158 and 1171 are professional tabletop and small floor-model trimmers; and the 1110 and 1046 round out the manual tabletop range.

Every Triumph cutter we sell ships with on-site installation, operator training, and our verbatim parts policy: we replace knives and dies, we do not sharpen them. Replacement Triumph blades and back-gauge components are stocked through MSL service.

AeroCut Digital Card and Finishing Systems

The MBM AeroCut family automates card cutting, slitting, creasing, and perforating for digital print operations. MSL carries the AeroCut X Pro and AeroCut X production card finishing systems. The AeroCut X Pro pairs barcode-driven registration with an integrated conveyor and Pinnacle InterTech Award engineering for shops running multi-up business cards, postcards, greeting cards, tickets, and short-run packaging at production speeds. The AeroCut X is the same platform without the conveyor and is the right choice for shops with shorter run lengths or operator-stacked output.

Both AeroCut systems integrate seamlessly with digital presses (Konica Minolta, Xerox, Canon, Epson, Ricoh) for inline or nearline production. Both are field-serviceable by our factory-trained technicians, and both ship with on-site installation and operator training. Replacement perfing wheels, slitting blades, and creasing rules are stocked through MSL service. Per our verbatim parts policy, we replace blades and rules, we do not sharpen them.

GoCrease Creasers

MSL carries the GoCrease production-creaser lineup: the GoCrease 3000 for high-speed digital and offset creasing, the GoCrease 4000 for high-volume integrated creasing and perforating, and the GoCrease Semi-Creaser for shorter-run shops. All three eliminate cracking on toner and laser-printed digital output and integrate with downstream folding and bookletmaking workflows.

MBM Bookletmakers

The Sprint 3000 is MBM's flagship saddle-stitch bookletmaker, pairing collation, stitching, folding, and trimming in a single inline system. The iBooklet is a tabletop bookletmaker for small print operations and is the entry point into automated saddle-stitch finishing. The SF2 is a wire-stitch bookletmaker for shops focused on stitch-then-fold workflows. The StitchMaster pairs stitching automation with field-serviceable consumables.

How to Choose an MBM Triumph Cutter by Production Volume

We size MBM Triumph cutter recommendations on four axes: production volume, automation requirement, cutting width, and integration depth.

  • Volume: Hydraulic Triumphs (5560, 6660, 7260) for shops cutting 50,000+ sheets/day; electric Triumphs (4350, 4815, 4850, 5255, 5260) for 5,000-50,000/day; tabletop Triumphs (1110, 1135, 1138, 1158, 1171) for under 5,000/day or short-run digital.
  • Automation: Programmable VRCut (5260, 5560, 6655, 6660, 7260) for shops needing recipe recall and barcode-driven setup; semi-automatic (4815, 4850) for operator-driven repeat cuts; manual (1046, 1110) for low-volume.
  • Cutting width: 16-7/8 inch (4350) to 28 inch (7260) on production cutters; 14.96 inch (1135) to 20.5 inch (1138) on tabletops.
  • Integration: Pair with AeroCut X/X Pro for digital card workflows, with GoCrease 3000/4000 for fold-and-crease, and with Sprint 3000 for stitched-and-trimmed booklet production.

Why Buy MBM Equipment from Mid-State Litho?

MSL has been an authorized MBM Corporation dealer for decades and a Michigan-based print-finishing equipment dealer since 1984. Three things differentiate us from the manufacturer-direct or out-of-state alternative:

Service depth. Our factory-trained technicians service MBM Triumph cutters and AeroCut digital systems on-site across Michigan and the Great Lakes region. We replace knives, blades, and dies; we do not sharpen them. Replacement parts ship from stock; emergency repair is available the same day for shops within our service territory.

Honest financing. Mitsubishi HC Capital underwrites equipment financing for every MBM machine we sell, with terms structured for print shops, Section 179 deductibility, and predictable monthly payments. We do not own a leasing arm; the financing partner is independent of MSL.

Family-owned, second-generation. We answer the phone at (810) 238-7370 between 8 AM and 5 PM Eastern, Monday through Friday. The same phone number reaches operators, service dispatch, and parts. The same family has run MSL since 1984.
