How to choose Plockmatic Group equipment
Four decisions settle most quotes.
Booklet volume and spine look. Occasional stitch-fold: BM60 / BM 61. Daily production: BM4035e / BM5000. Squared spine without PUR: PowerSquare 160 / 224. True perfect-bound books: DigiBook PUR. Higher commercial stitch throughput may want Horizon StitchLiner instead.
Crack on the fold. AutoCreaser alone if you already fold elsewhere. DigiFold if crease and fold should be one pass.
Shaped cuts and labels. ColorCut flatbed or sheet cutter, or LC/LCF label systems. ColorFlare when foil or embellishment is the product, not only the cut.
